ESL stands for English as Second Language. There are a lot of immigrants who are struggling to make it in English-speaking countries because they cannot speak the language. They cannot go to certain schools because they will not be understood even if their main goal is to learn how to speak English.
There are some students who are introduced in school as ESL students which means that they are still trying to learn English as one of their languages. For some students, it is not only their second language. It can be their third or their fourth language. Through this program, people can improve their speaking abilities and so much more.
