A decreased rate of photosynthesis is the least likely to be an effect of climate change. It is actually more of a cause of climate change. The current rate of climate change is caused by the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the air. It isn’t being taken back into the earth, and therefore, it is staying in the air. A decreased rate of photosynthesis would be allowing more of the carbon dioxide to stay in the air for longer, and allow it to do more damage to the ozone layer that protects the earth.
The other choices in this list are effects of climate change. As the temperatures warm up around the globe, there are going to be consequences.
