When a woman enters puberty, she will expect to have menstruation every month. But for some, their periods do not occur regularly or monthly. On the average, the menstrual cycle is 28 days or between 24 to 31 days. There are several factors that affect the irregularity of menstrual cycle of women. One is being not on the ideal weight.

A big factor also of not having a regular menstruation is lack of sleep as it distracts one’s reproductive hormones. A woman must also avoid getting stressed out if she wants to have a regular menstruation. And lastly, if you are a woman who are taking medicated drugs that involves hormones, it also has an impact on making your menstruation delay for a few days.
