A mixture is defined as two or more substances being combined together. Though the physical element of the change, their chemical composition stays the same. One of my favorite mixtures to make is a salad.

I would combine lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and carrots together to make my salad. Though they are combining into one, all of the vegetables in my salad will keep their normal chemical makeup.

As far as refraction and reflection, they are related to science because they are apart of the study of physics. This study is a subject of science, and they are related to light waves.

Mixtures are two or more substances that are mixed together to create one. With a mixture, the substances keep their same chemical makeup, and it does not result in a chemical reaction. The only thing that changes is the physical composition of them.

One of the most common examples of a mixture is a fruit salad. With a fruit salad, there are many fruits you may combine, such as strawberries, blueberries, oranges, and bananas. Though they create one salad, you could stay be able to separate them because they have not chemically changed. When it comes to refraction and reflection, they are two aspects of physics, and they are related to wavefronts.

A mixture is an amalgamation of two or more materials, and each has its own chemical identity; however, a chemical reaction does not occur. If you mix salt and sand or sugar and water, their identities will stay the same. Mixtures are used in scientific settings and baking, and there are three different types of mixtures: solution, colloid, and suspension.

Reflection is mirrored light from a mirror or a pool of water, and this is not limited to visual or light reflection; water, sound, particle, and seismic waves can also be reflected. No matter what type of reflection, it is caused by an abrupt change in the wave's direction that hits between different forms.

Unlike reflection, refraction is caused by a difference in the wave's speed because it passes through one or more different mediums. An example would be that if you have a glass of water and put a straw into the water, it will appear bent when you look through the glass's contents. This directional change is because light waves move faster through the air, and when they have to go through the water, they are skewed to a different direction.

A mixture is made up of two or more substance which can be mixed, mechanically in any proportion. Most of the naturally occurring substances are not pure, they are mixtures. Examples of mixture include air, well water, blood, sweat, urine, palm oil, milk, and seawater.

Refraction can be defined as the blending of light rays as they pass obliquely from one medium into another of different optical densities. There are two laws of refraction. One of the laws of refraction states that the incident and refracted rays and the normal at the point of incidence, all lie in the same plane. The other law of refraction states that the ratio of the sine angle of incidence to the sin of refraction is always a constant for two give media.

Reflection helps to explain the property of waves to change in direction when they come in contact with a barrier. The study of refraction and reflection help when calculating the change in the speed of waves.

A mixture is when a substance is created by combining multiple materials. There is no chemical reaction, and the elements could easily be separated. An example of this is a fruit salad, where many fruits are mixed together to create one salad.

In regards to reflection, in science, it is when a wavefront changes direction, and this change of direction occurs at an interface. Examples of reflections include sound waves and reflections of lights.

Refraction is when the light is bent. The light is able to pass from one substance that is transparent to another substance. This can also happen with water waves and sound waves.

A mixture occurs when two or more substances are put together; however, each item retains its own chemical identity and does not create a reaction. Some examples of mixtures are Flour and sugar, and marbles and salt. Several types of mixtures are classified under two major categories ranked as heterogeneous or not uniform throughout and homogeneous, which have the same composition.

Mixtures are specific according to particle size and are either solutions, colloids, or suspensions. In a solution, the particles are small and cannot be seen with the naked eye, and colloids also have small particles. Still, they can be seen under a microscope, and the suspension of the particles are held within the mixture and can be seen.

Refraction is the redirection of a wave passing from one medium to another caused by its speed change. Reflection is a change in the direction of a wavefront at the interface between two different media or from one to the other. Both refraction and reflection apply to physics, and physics is the study of energy, forces, mechanics, waves, and atoms' structure in the physical universe.

If you would like to make a mixture, the best thing that you can do is to combine two or more materials together. You can check if there are chemical reactions that will occur. If they do not combine well with each other then it is not actually a mixture anymore.

A mixture should have the ability to mix well together and when the time comes that they need to be separated from each other, this can still be done successfully too. One of the greatest misconceptions of people is assuming that all mixtures are made out of the liquid. Solids can be considered as mixtures too. For example, different chocolates that are placed in one tray can be considered a mixture.

A mixture is a product you get when two or more substances are combined physically. This means each constituent of a mixture will still retain its properties since they are not chemically combined. Mixtures are very easy to make, and I bet you have made one unknowingly today.

A perfect example of a mixture is when you prepare your hot tea; you are practically adding different substances together; tea, sugar, and water. To make a mixture is simple; just think of different things you can mix. Reflection and refraction are usually talked about when discussing the properties of a wave.

Reflection explains the property of waves to change in direction when they come in contact with barriers. Refraction, on the other hand, explains a change in the path of waves as they travel through a medium to another. The study of these two properties will help when calculating a change in the speed of the waves.
