If you don’t know how to perform CRP and you are all alone, it is better to call the emergency number (911), so that the emergency dispatcher that answers your call can assess the situation and provide you with the proper instructions on what to do over the phone.

Calling the emergency number first rather than performing CPR without the proper knowledge is more efficient because the person who answers your call is properly trained on how to perform CPR and can assist and instruct you on how to do it.
CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a medical procedure that can save the life of a person that is experiencing cardiac arrest.
