There are many medical issues that cause the skin to turn a different color. Some issues are not problematic or risky. When someone gets flush, their face turns red. This flushness is not always serious, but it could be depending upon other issues especially the issue that caused the flushness.

Someone could become flush if they started to feel bad. They could also get flush especially their face if they get upset or worried. Cyanosis results in bluish skin color. This is because the parts of the body that are blue are not getting enough oxygen.

Jaundice is the yellowing of the skin. Pallor is when the skin goes pale. However, there are ways that the skin can return back to normal with these conditions.

Flush

Flush is a sudden redness of the skin. Cyanosis is a slightly bluish, grayish skin discoloration caused by abnormal amounts or reduced hemoglobin in the blood. Jaundice is a yellow discoloration of the skin, mucous membranes and sclerae caused by excessive amounts of bilirubin in the blood. Pallor is an unnatural paleness or absence of color in the skin indicating insufficient oxygen and excessive carbon dioxide in the blood.
