In the unusual game of Pickleball, a receiving player may stand anywhere on his side of the court. The opposition must be careful not to allow a ball to hit him, because while he stands on his side, a hit would mean a score for his side and a loss to the side with the ball. This means that it is wise for the receiving player to calculate the best place on his side of the court to stand.
Although some players use this as a distraction, the non receiving player can stand any where on his side of the court. If he is hit by the ball on the fly, it is a point for the serving team.
