The correct answer to this question is B.

The Dead fairy hoax was an April Fools' Day prank in 2007. Dan Baines, a sculptor and illusion designer, managed to sell his creation, the fake corpse of a fairy, on an internet auction for nearly £300. A few days before April 1, 2007, Dan Baines posted images on his website purporting to show the remains of a fairy. On April 1, Baines appended a note to the website, thanking the readers for expressing their interest in his story and acknowledging that the fairy corpse was fake.

Fake, it was an April Fool s joke

This was an April Fools joke played on England, but the people who did this prank were just very clever in how they played this.
