A data table is for displaying a (usually) large amount of information on a grid formation so that it can be easily assimilated. It is a visual instrument that benefits those who deal more comfortably with numbers than with verbal descriptions, and it is also more efficient in giving numerical information such as the number of times one element has occurred, the movement of events such as sales. A data table lays out numbers in columns and rows. but can often incorporate pictures, hyperlinks, and supporting text. Option A is correct.

The purpose of data tables is to present tabular information in a grid, or matrix, and to have column or rows that show the meaning of the information in the grid.
