When it comes to amplifiers, they are needed for the audience to hear the music or speech. There are two different types of amplifiers and they are AC amplifiers and DC amplifiers. The main difference in these two amplifiers were created for a reason. This is because sometimes people want to hear the sound at a steady voltage, but other times the audio will need to be sounded at higher frequencies.

The DC amplifiers will be used with a same voltage and they do not block out anything. The AC amplifiers block out the sounds made by the DC amplifiers so that the people will only hear the music and words being sung. It depends on the effect or what you want your audience to hear.
