What are the basic rules of knife safety?



A. A dull knife is safer to use
B. Use the correct knife for the task at hand
C. Always cut away from yourself
D. Keep knives sharp
E. Only knife with a full tang should be used
F. Stabilize the cutting board by putting a damp cloth underneath it
G. Never use a ceramic knife
H. When carrying a knife, hold it point down, parallel and close to your leg.

Always cut away from yourself
Keep knives sharp
