Microsoft Word is a writing software. It is used to write essays, write books, and even create graphic designs. When using this software, it is important to know how to save it, so that you can return back to the project.

The first way is is to hit the File button at the top left corner of the software and then hit save. The next ways are key functions which allow it. They are CTRL+S, CTRL+W, ALT+F4, and F12. The last way is to hit the X button at the top, right side, which will load a prompt that says Save.

There are two different things that you can do when you want to save the documents that you have created. The first thing that you can do is to make sure that you will go to File, then you will click Save As. This will allow you to save the document on the destination folder easily. Let us say that you would like to make some changes to the first document that you have created. What is the next thing that you are going to do? The best thing that you can do is t click Save. This means that you have already saved the document prior to the use of Save As, but you are making some changes to it by clicking Save.

There are two different ways that you can save a document. The first option that is available in the type of option that you should do when you are about to save the document for the first time. You first need to click on File then look for Save As.

You would need to come up with a document name that will let you search for what you want. The second option that is available for you when you want to save a document is if you would choose Save. This is more ideal if you have already saved the document prior, and you just want to make sure that you have already done some updates.

There are three ways to save any document in Microsoft Word. Take a look at those three ways one by one:

  1. The easiest one is that just press F12 button of the Keyboard and, select the location in your device where you want to save.
  2. Press the Ctrl+S button of the Keyboard and browse the location in your device to save the document.
  3. In the third method, you need to click on the 'File' button at the top left corner of Word. Then, click on the 'Save As' option and browse the location where you want to save that document.
