The sedimentary rock is known as a type of rock that may have been formed because of the accumulation of different particles in one place. For example, there are different organic particles that can be found on the ocean floor. They may all form together in order to form one solid rock that is composed of varying items.

The rock found in the ocean floor may be composed of small pebbles, the carcass of dead sea animals, shells, and so much more. Take note that there are also sedimentary rocks that can be found on land. It will be helpful to know the other types of rocks available too.
