The Bohr’s model of hydrogen atom describes the structure of the levels of hydrogen energy. This model is somewhat considered to be a primitive model of the hydrogen energy as compared to the valence shell atom. The Bohr’s model is commonly taught to students as an introduction to quantum mechanics before they learn valence shell atom, which is more accurate but a little more complex.

The Bohr’s model of the hydrogen atom was introduced in 1913 by the Danish physicist Niels Bohr. Bohr described the atomic hydrogen model as a positively charged nucleus that is composed of neutrons and protons that are surrounded by an electron cloud that is negatively charged.
