White privilege is a term used more recently by some to indicate that in the society in the United States if your skin is white, you are born with an advantage over those who do not have white skin. The term “White Privilege” to them is the other side of racism. Others believe that everyone, whites included, are targeted or privileged in some ways in our society. It is not true that only white people have privileges in our society.

This idea of white privilege is much more complex. It seems to be along party lines of Republicans and Democrats. There are those who are “white” that feel sympathetic to the blacks and then there are some who are black that are sympathetic with the idea that all colors of individuals have privileges or are targeted about certain things.
