The correct answer to this question is A. Reduced colonists need for protection against the French in Canada. Also referred to as The Seven Years’ War, the French and Indian war was fought for control of North America. Ultimately, the British won.

Their win allowed them to expand their claims of territory in the New World. On the other hand, with any War, their debt increased. Between the debt and the lack of military support, the British chose to give London more control. The war also affected the colonists, for they had to learn to come together despite their differences.
