The correct answer to this question isBenvolio. He is a fictional character from the drama Romeo and Juliet, which was written by Shakespeare. Benvolio is Romeo's cousin. He tries to be a peacemaker in the drama and trying to prevent violence between the families of the Montague's and Capulet's.

Ultimately, he failed. Benvolio is very kind and is always thinking of others, especially in trying to protect Romeo. His protection does help because it prevented Romeo from receiving the death penalty. He also had a part in Romeo going to the party where he fell in love with Juliet at.
