Harry Potter is a wildly popular fantasy series created by author J. K. Rowling. There are 7 books in the series ranging a ten year period from a publishing date of 1997 to 2007. The subtitles of the 7 books include The Philosopher’s Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince, and The Deathly Hallows.
All 7 have enjoyed much critical acclaim and have all been translated to the big screen with movie adaptations as well. Recently an 8th book called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has emerged in the form of a playscript.
