The skin is the organ system that protects against water and disease and also controls the body temperature. The skin is the largest organ in the body. It is the external protective layer of the body.

The skin helps in regulating the body temperature and allows the sense of touch, cold and heat. The skin has three different layers they include the epidermis, the dermis and the hypodermis.

The epidermis is the upper layer of the skin, which protect water from entering the body and creates our skin tone. The dermis is directly beneath the epidermis.

It contains the hair follicles, sweat glands and tough connective tissue. The hypodermis is the innermost layer of the skin that is made of fat and connective tissue.

The correct answer is SKIN
The skin is the organ system that protects against water and disease and also controls your body temperature. The skin is the outer protective layer of the body of any animal. It is the largest organ of the body.

The skin is divided into two layers: The epidermis and dermis. The epidermis is the outermost layer of the skin. It provides a barrier between the body and the external environment.

The epidermis is further divided into five layers: Stratum corneum, Stratum lucidum, Stratum granulosum, Stratum spinosum, and Stratum basale.

The dermis is the layer underneath the dermis. It contains connective tissues, hair follicles, sweat glands, and extracellular matrix.

The skin is actually the human body's largest organ, whereas 'organ' to most people brings heart and lungs to mind. it is the integumentary system that protects us from water and disease. This system acts as a protective barrier between the outside and the inside of the body.

The dermis is the middle layer of skin. Lymphatic vessels in the dermis drain fluid from the tissues and are an important part of the immune system. They help ward off infections and other harmful substances.
