Aerobic Exercise
Aerobic exercises are exercises that can be when oxygen is used as fuel. Aerobic simply means “involving or occurring only in the presence of oxygen.” It is the opposite of anaerobic, which means “occurring in the absence or without oxygen.”

Aerobic exercise includes low intensity and moderately intense exercises. In these cases, oxygen is used to burn glucose and fats to produce energy. In most, highly intense exercise are anaerobic exercises. They are short but intense. Examples are Running marathons, heavy weight lifting, biking, and high-intensity interval training.

Aerobic exercise, on the other hand, is continuous, and it occurs in a slow, steady-state. Examples are jogging, walking, cycling, swimming, and climbing.
