It should be remembered that organic chemistry deals with the study of carbons. It only follows that inorganic chemistry will study the opposite of that which is non-carbon-based compounds. There are still a lot of subsets that are available after organic compounds and they may not be given as much attention as the others.

Take note that inorganic compounds are considered to be more simple as compared to organic compounds. They are also fewer than the recorded number of organic compounds. Organic compounds are in millions while inorganic compounds are only in thousands. Inorganic chemistry will tackle how to distinguish organic from inorganic. It will also cover concepts that students should know.
