The study of human diversity is included in the field of Anthropology, which studies humans throughout time and space. The goal of anthropology is not to rank different cultures but instead to better understand them. Human diversity is also called cultural diversity, and it discusses the ways that people are different and alike.

Characteristics of human diversity include but are not limited to: age, gender, education, ethnicity and physical characteristics. Anthropology includes hands-on study, such as immersing oneself in a new culture, observing cultural artifacts, and interviewing people from different cultures in order to compare experiences.

The individuality or race, beliefs, morals, and cultural standards. Each person has it's own view on their care, and their beliefs may interfere with the modern medicine, so we must provide the best care based off of their needs.
