The correct answer to this question is =SUM(J1:J8). The Sum function is a popular feature of Microsoft Excel, which is a spreadsheet software by Microsoft. It is a function for math and trig. It adds together values. Individual values, cell reference, or all three can used.

The Sum function allows Excel to do the math, by using a formula to add together the numbers in a row or a column. The standard formula for the SUM function is SUM(A2:A4,C2:C3). A2, A4, C2, C3 can be changed to fit the sums that need to be added together, which is why the answer is SUM (J1:J8) to this question.
