Urine output hourly is the best answer to this. It should be noted first what Mannitol I.V is used for. This is a diuretic that is used to increase the urine production of humans. This is done in order to treat several medical conditions that are caused by excess fluid build up in the body such as glaucoma and so much more.

There are also some people who need to take this when there is an inflammation that is occurring in the brain area. There are some people who cannot take Mannitol I.V particularly those who are taking medications for the improvement of their renal function. Take note that Mannitol can only be given intravenously.

Urine output hourly

The osmotic diuretic mannitol is contraindicated in the presence of inadequate renal function or heart failure because it increases the intravascular volume that must be filtered and excreted by the kidney.
