The correct answer to the question is Sunil Valson. Sunil Valson is the only Indian cricket player who never represented India in an international game but still got selected for a World Cup. Sunil Valson was born on the 2nd of October 1958 in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh in India. He is a former left-arm-fast-medium bowler. Sunil Valson was one of the cricket players selected for the 1983 cricket World Cup games based on this excellent performance in local matches before the world cup. However, Sunil never played a single match throughout the tournament. He was the only player in the squad that didn’t play any match. Currently, Sunil Valson is serving as team manager of Delhi capitals.

Sunil Valson is the only Indian Cricketer who won a World Cup without playing a single International match.

Sunil Valson is a former left-arm-fast-medium bowler. He gained a golden opportunity to be a part of the World Cup team in the year 1983 due to his outstanding performances in the domestic matches prior to this World Cup. And the most interesting thing is that he didn’t play a single game in this tournament. Apart from this, he played for 3 Ranji teams: Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Railways.

Valson might not be a well-known face in Cricket world but he will be remembered for holding the most unique record in Indian cricket history.
