ROM stands for Read Only Memory. This means that it will allow different details to be accessible but we cannot overwrite on the data that will be available there. This contains permanent information that will make sure that the computer will work well. If some information will be removed, it might cause the whole computer to crash.

Based on this, we can assume that ROM contains the basic input/output system which means that C is the answer to this question. It is vital to know the different parts of the computer so that you will immediately know if there is something wrong with it or what part is acting up. This will make fixing the computer easier to do.
