In order to understand this question, you need to know what feedback inhibition is. Feedback inhibition is when you use an output also as the input. This is meant to control how the process is going to be. Most of the time, the end product for this is negative but there are times when negative feedback is necessary in order to get the right outcome of the process.

For instance, this is done in order to prevent a product from being made too much. Too much of anything is always going to be bad so this is a process that is necessary at times.
