A monolith is a geological feature made of stone or rock, such as mountains or a single large rock placed in a monument or building. The surface of it is shiny. Technically, it is a metal structure that looks like a pillar, which the ones that have been found are three-sided and stands at rather tall heights. While the monoliths' roots are enigmatic, they are often set up outside businesses to entice people into the store.

Monoliths are usually discovered in remote locations worldwide, with mysterious objects appearing at an English beach and a national park. Some people believe that the first monoliths are uncovered as part of a marketing strategy, while others believe in various theories.

The word monolith is derived from the Latin word "monolithus" which is coined from the ancient Greek word "monolithos" derived from mono and lithos. Mono means one and lithos means stone. Therefore by implication, we can say monoliths could mean one stone. A monolith id s geological attribute which comprises just one large stone or rock which includes some mountain or a massive piece of rock that is placed or placed within a building.

Erosion is what exposes these kinds of geological formations which most times are made up of very tough and solid igneous rocks or metamorphic. In architectural studies, the term speaks of considerable overlaps with megalith that was used in prehistory and may also be used in the context of rock-cut architecture which usually remains attached to the solid rock such as the in the case of the monolithic church or for some extremely large stones like statues, architraves.

Monoliths can be defined as a single large block of stone that is used in architecture and sculpture and has been in place in ancient times. Monoliths are sheet metal structures that began to be constructed in the wake of the discovery of the so-called Utah monoliths.

The Utah monoliths are 3m tall; it is made of metal sheets placed in a red sandstone slot canyon in Utah. The Utah monoliths were installed in 2016 but got the attention of media after their existence in November 2020.

After the discovery of the Utah monoliths, reports emerged on social media that similar metal columns have been found in other places around the world, which include South America, North America, Europe, and Central America. Lastly, other monoliths have been found in a different part of the world, like in Africa morocco precisely as of December 10, 2020.

Monoliths are structures that both nature itself and humans can make. These structures are upward in their size and they can vary in height. Some of them are only inches long, while others can go as long as miles. They are mainly made of stone, but there are some that are made of metal. Some of them are just statues and structures that people are able to go visit.

Other monoliths can also be used as places of worship. For example, there are many churches that qualify as monolith structures where Christians can go to hear from the word of God.
