Knowing how to measure one's inseam will help you to know your size and also to make the perfect decision as you go out to get a great-fitting pair of pants for yourself.
1. If you currently have a pair of well-fitting pants at home. Put it on to measure your inseam. Getting a similar pair of pants to the ones you want to buy is advised.
2. If you really want an accurate measurement, you have got to take off your shoes because having it on can interfere with the measurement.
3. Stand up very straight and seek the assistance of someone who will help you with the measurement. It is usually advised to put one's back against a wall so as to have a perfect posture.
4. The inseam is usually measured by taking the measuring tape and start from the crotch seam of one's pants down to the floor. Once this is rightly measured, you've already gotten your inseam measurement.
