To make a ladder in Minecraft, the first thing you should consider having is the items or materials you will need before you can create the ladder.

1. To create a ladder in survival mode, the materials required are seven (7) sticks.

2. Start by opening the crafting menu. The reason you should first open the crafting menu is so that you can see the crafting table and get familiar with the 3x3 crafting grid. The 3x3 crafting grid is where the items listed in step 1 will be placed.

3. This is where you will add all the items into the 3x3 crafting grid.

4. Place two sticks in the first row such that the middlebox is empty, meaning you are placing one in the first box of the first row and the other in the third box.

5. Place three sticks in the middle row.
