If you want to calculate the area of an ellipse, you will need to use geometric calculations.

• The formula is A = πab

• For example, if the ellipse has a major radius of 10 and a minor ellipse of 6

• The problem will look like this A = 6 x 10 x π

• 6 x 10 = 60

• 60 x π (3.1416) or Pi = 188.496 rounded to 188
