These simple steps will help to teach you how to skateboard.
• Place the skateboard flat on the ground and keep your feet in the proper position.
• Your feet should be lined up closely with the truck screws that attach the wheels to the board.
• Try to find your balance without falling.
• Push off with one foot and turn your front foot marginally, so it is straight with the board.
• Try to gain momentum while you practice putting your back foot into place on the back of the board.
• Pivot your riding foot straight.
• Push back with the other foot then pivot back.
• Keep your center of gravity as close to the ground as possible as you make a turn.
• Put your foot down to stop.
