Ghost is a game that people play outside during the summer and fall months. It is a very unusual game, and it is often played for its shock value, and you are supposed to play it in an actual graveyard, which is creepy. The purpose of the game is to pick a ghost who will hide while other players search for them.
The spirit then tries to tag a player while the players try to get back to the home base.
• The game calls for at least three players.
• You have to choose a few houses, yards, or another place in the neighborhood that establishes boundaries.
• There must be a safe spot for the players to run when the ghost is found. Everyone but the spirit stands at the home base while the ghost runs off to hide.
• Begin counting while the ghost is hiding.
• Leave from home base and go searching for the ghost in the graveyard.
• The ghost must jump out and startle the other players and come out and tag one of them.
• When the ghost reveals itself to the players, they should yell, “ghost in the graveyard,” and then runoff.
• If the ghost does not catch anyone, the last player to reach the home base is the next ghost.
