Here are three simple steps on how to inspect element in Google Chrome.

1. Select any element you would like to inspect after you must have opened the site on your Google Chrome.

2. On the sidebar, there three vertical dots, usually at the top right of the Chrome window. Click on those dots for a drop down with some options. Click on the more tools option, and then select the developer tools. Nevertheless, you can choose to use a shortcut when you have opened your site. If you are using a Linux or PC, simply hold Ctrl and shift, then press C. But if you are using Mac OS, just hold command and option, then press C.

3. At this stage, there would be a pop-up window, which would be the element box. Here you can make the needed changes you need to make. You can also hold the corner of the editor box and drag it to resize it.
