There various things that someone can calculate, especially in science. Relatively all branches of science demand a calculation of a thing or the other. In this article, I will be showing you how to calculate properly.
1. Know what you want to calculate: just like I said earlier, there are various things you can calculate. The calculation is beyond just the simple arithmetic in mathematics. Examples of what you can calculate include: mean, median, mode, half-life, percentage, frequency, amount of substance, and thousands more parameters.
2. Obtain the required formula: there are different formulas for different calculations. For example, someone calculating acceleration in physics can use the formula (velocity/time). Hence, obtain the right formula(s) to use.
3. Substitute parameter aright: After you must have obtained the right formula, ensure you substitute the parameters correctly.
4. Proceed with your workings: Continue with the simple arithmetic while working with the formula to obtain the correct answer.
5. Check your workings again: ensure you do this to correct any mistake you might have made.
