Writing in cursive is a good skill to have. It comes I handy when you want to handwrite a journal entry, letter, or invitation. Cursive writing requires a lot of practice before perfection; this means that you have to challenge yourself to practice long paragraphs or sentences in cursive.

Here are tips on how to write in cursive

1. Obtain a very good position.
2. Use an ink pen that has a felt tip or a gel pen the releases a nice, fluid line of ink.
3. Write on a lined paper so that your letters are the same size and shape.
4. Place your paper at an angle; angling the paper makes it easier for you to slant your letters.
5. Use your non-writing hand to move the paper as you write.
6. Grip your pen or pencil lightly at the 45-degree angle.
