You may be used to doing a lot of things in Algebra wherein you would like to plot points, lines, and other things. Sometimes it can be confusing to know how to measure the longitude and the latitude. Latitude is known to be the distance north of the equator, while the longitude is known to be the distance from the east to west of the prime meridian.

• Mark the location point that you would like to measure on the map.

• You may need to mark with a rectangle each location that will be available.

• Read and record the longitude and the latitude with a small quadrangle.

• You can do this with a pencil and the markings on the map.

• Once you have already read the longitude and latitude, you may record the details properly.

Some would record the details with the use of their excel sheet while others will just write it down on the notepad.
