There will be times when resetting the computer is the only option that is available for you.

To do that, these are the steps that you have to take:

• Go to Settings

• Look for Update and Security

• Choose Recovery

• You will find a page there that will say, “reset this PC.” Choose that option.

• There will be a button that will say, “Get started.”

Take note that you will be asked if you would like to keep the files that you already have on your computer or if you are going to delete everything. Deleting everything will be ideal if you have some viruses on the computer that you want to remove.

You can erase programs and files on the computer if you need to make data recovery impossible.

Resetting your Windows computer with these simple steps.

• Open start.

• Click the Window logo in the bottom left corner of the screen—open settings.

• Click the icon on the lower left side of the Start Window.

• Click update and security.

• Click recovery.

• This tab is on the left side of the window.

• Click get started, which is near the top of the window just under the reset. A pop- up window will appear.

• Click delete everything.

• This option is in the pop -up window.

• Select the remove everything option safeguarding that no file programs or settings will be left behind.

• Click delete my files.

• It’s on the next page.

• This option means that windows will delete every program, file, and custom setting, but it will not eradicate the operating system.

• Click reset, and your computer will begin deleting your files.

• When the hard drive has been wiped, you will see the set -up screen where you can log in to Windows as a new user.
