The first thing you should do if you want to braid your hair properly is to remove tangles from your hair by using a wide-toothed comb. The idea is to make your hair to be knot-free so as to fasten the process. You can also apply a leave-in conditioner to your hair to make it moist, though you can braid with dry hair too.

After this, you will need to divide your hair into three parts. Start by holding the right part with your right hand, and do the same with the left hand, leaving the middle part. At this point, continue the process by crossing the left part of your hair over the middle part, after which you cross the right part of over the middle part.

After the first round, repeat the process again by first crossing the left part over the middle part, and then the right part over the middle part. Continue in this manner till the last round, where you will need to secure the braid with a non-rubber elastic material.

There are different ways that you can braid hair depending on the type of braid that you want.

For example, if you would like the usual braid, you just need to section your hair into three parts. Make sure that you will place one first over the second portion of your hair. Then you can place the third one until you finally make the best braid.

Continue braiding in this manner until you reach the last portion of your hair. Take note that the way that you will braid can be different if you are going to do other types of braids like the French braid or the mermaid braid. It can be fun to check out the different braid types for sure.

Braiding hair has been around for centuries. It is a fashion statement and can be used as a protective style to help natural hair grow. There are a number of ways to braid hair, and depending on the style of the braid, the instructions will differ.

A traditional braid can be achieved by putting the hair in a ponytail and braiding the hair in the ponytail down. A french braid can be done taking 3 strands of hair and gradually adding more hair as the braid continues. A french braid can be completed to the side of the hair or straight back.

Braiding is a great way of taking care of your hair; it also makes the hair look fashionable; learning simple braiding techniques allows you to be able to create a variety of styles.

Once you know how to braid properly, you can move to start braiding different types of braids.

Here are a few things you have to do to braid properly.

1. Start by detangling the hair with a brush, because braiding is faster when the hair is knot-free
2. Divide your hair into three sections, grab the right section with your right hand, and the same for the left, and the middle should be free.
3. Cross the left section over the middle and also cross the right over the middle, continue your braiding in this manner
4. You can also add hair products like hair spray to it to boost shine.
