On July 14th, 2020, Saleh’s body was found decapitated and dismembered in his luxury apartment or on the lower east side of Manhattan. The police have said that he was killed the day before. Earlier that night, neighbors say they heard screaming from Saleh’s unit and contacted his sister, and her attempts to contact him were futile.
She went to find him at his condo, where she encountered the gory crime scene. She called the police, and they found Saleh’s body parts beside an electric saw, and his decapitated head was in the trash can. An postmortem report from the Chief Medical Examiner concluded that Saleh died from multiple stab wounds.
