Some people assume that the face primer can also be used as an eye primer but this is not the case. The skin around the eyes and the skin on the face is going to be different. The skin around the eye area is going to be more sensitive and would need more gentle products. Face primers and eye primers are meant to make your face look less oily than usual.

Eye primer is intended to make your lids become ready to be coated with eye shadow. Have you ever wondered why some people seem to have amazingly covered lids? It is because of the right eye makeup products and also the right eye primer.

Face primer is a beauty product, and its purpose is to create an extra layer between the skin on your face and the make-up. A face primer is meant to help your make-up last longer, and it is also used to make the skin’s surface feel softer, as it is supposed to even out skin tone.

Face primers fill in lines, pores, and creases, and can be a base underneath the rest of the make-up. An eye primer, on the other hand, is a beauty product that is used to safeguard the liquid eyeliners or eyeshadows applied from fading, and it can help it to remain intact all day long.

It also benefits in blocking the eyeshadow from creasing on your eyelids. Eye primer intends to even out the eyelid’s skin tone, smooth the eyelids skin, and hide any veins.

You would be using a face primer when you want to prepare the skin of your face for the other makeup that you are going to place. Most face primers will contain water and silicone so that it will have the ability to keep the skin soft and supple.

It will also be able to fill in some of the pores, creases, and lines that are available on your face. When you say eye primer, this will come with a little bit more grip as compared to a face primer probably because it is meant to fill in some of the fine lines that are available on the eye area. Eye primers are meant to last for a longer period of time.

They have some differences because the skin type of those two areas is different. The face primer helps your skin to get less oily, so the makeup would stay up longer and have a smooth looking.

The eye primer, instead, is intended to coat your lids in a more solid manner.
