Electro comes from the name electronic music, and funk records have influenced electro music. Drum machines influence drum music electro. Drum music has paved the way for computers, which are now utilized for creating this type of music. Hip hop was a cultural movement.

The music came around because of the African American community's cultural movement, especially in New York or Brooklyn in the 1970s and 1980s. Rap may have come out in the 1970s, but it only became mainstream in the 1980s with such performers as RUN DMC, The Sugarhill Gang, LL Cool J, and Public Enemy with their infectious message to "Fight the Power." Hip-hop is immortalized by giants like Biggie Smalls and Tupac, who were both gunned down at the peak of their respective careers.

On the other hand, Electro became popular in the 1980s with Duran Duran and Eurythmics. It is difficult to determine precisely what electro music is except that it is very retro. The most prominent ingredient in electro music is the synthesizer. Synthesizers were frequently used in all different kinds of music in the 1980s, but it was used primarily in electro music. An essential part of hip-hop music is the lyrics. Hip hop is like poetry, with a significant lean into social issues of the day.

There are different types of music that people are interested in. Hip Hop and Electro are just two of the music types that people may listen to. Between the two, hip hop is going to be older than electro. Electro music only started in the 1980s and hip hop was first introduced to the market a decade earlier. What makes these two kinds of music confusing is the fact that they make use of the same instruments. There are just some instruments that are used in electro that can make the sounds come with a more distinct sound. These are the kinds of music that you will normally hear when you attend parties.

Electro or electronic music, came around in the 1980s, with the introduction of the infamous Casio keyboard. It happened around just as the disco was fading out. This kind of music evolved when computers became mainstream, and the music changed.

Some of the typical instruments include synthesizer, drum machine, and sampler. Electro music has been influenced by funk music. Hip hop, on the other hand, was a cultural movement that changed the face of music forever.

Hip hop music had its humble beginnings in the Bronx in New York in the 1970s. This infectious type of music started to become popular once the block parties became a part of the New York music scene.

Electro music is something that has been influenced by the different funk music that is available. Electro music started in the 1980s, while hip hop was formed in the 70s. Some people are shocked by this because they have always assumed that hip hop started out much later.

What happened is that there are various block parties that came up, and people started playing hip hop music. There are a lot of African Americans that are connected to hip hop, while Latin Americans are those who are connected to electro music. People will usually have some preferences with which type of music they would like to listen to.

Hip hop and electro are two types of musical genres. They both have been around for a long time, to impact the current sound of music today. Between the two, hip hop is older than electro. It was started in the 1970s, while the electro was introduced in the 1980s. Another difference between the two is related to their cultural significance. Electro is seen as just a musical genre, while hip hop is a cultural movement. It gave African-Americans the ability to express their beliefs, talents, and creativity to masses. Electro is influenced by funk, while hip hop is influenced by many genres, such as blues and rock.
