Representative democracy is the most prevalent system of government in the western world. It is comprised of constitutional monarchies (UK), parliamentary republics (Canada or Germany), and constitutional republics (United States). The most elected officials are policed by the constitution, which classifies a system of checks and balances to regulate any substantial centralization of power.

Representative democracies have become more commonplace than any other kind. America, for example, guarantees freedoms to the people, possibly more so than any other nation. Participatory democracy, on the other hand, is considered an ideology that removes the middle- man. It places policy responsibilities directly in the hands of the citizens.

In any case, there is not a country that can be termed as a participatory democracy. The best example which even comes close to it is represented by voting in the United States. Participatory democracy has the network and power to build communities based on mutualism. There would have to be progressive causes to favor this type of democracy.

When you say participatory democracy this means that there are going to be more citizens that would have to be involved so that decision making will be possible. This would provide more political representation than the usual type of democracy. When you say direct democracy, this means that there are going to be different people who will be in charge of making decisions. The more people who will vote for something, that will be the decision of the party as a whole. For example, in a democratic country, those that will get more votes will win or will be elected into position. For participatory democracy, the votes will depend on the representatives.

Representative democracy involves the action of selecting and voting for political candidates and their parties. They entrust that the people they vote for will create the best policies for them. The leaders must adhere to the constitution as a guide of how to govern, and this is the most prominent form of modern government.

It is different from Constitutional Monarchies, which is practiced by the United Kingdom, and parliamentary republics, which include Canada and Germany. The United States is a constitutional republic. Participatory democracy, on the other hand, gives the people the power and the voice to make the decisions.

Ballot voting in the United States is the clearest illustration of codified participatory democracy. Participatory democracies can be responsible for making changes and building communities based on mutualism and cooperation.

When you say participatory democracy this means that there are some lay citizens that are given the chance to participate in making decisions. The people will deliberate so that they can make the best decisions regarding the situation.

When you say representative democracy, this type of democracy will allow more people to get their voices heard. There are more representatives that will have more control over the things that people would need to decide.

Take note that for representative democracy, those who will be making decisions are those who will be actively participating and will be involved not only in the decision-making process but the actual things that need to be done.

Democracy is a system government that allows the entire nation to participate. This is done through democratic actions such as voting and freedom of speech. There are several types of democracy systems that are in place, and two of them are participatory democracy and representative democracy. Both of these are ruled by people, but they differ in who is ruling them.

In a participatory democracy, it is direct to the people. This can be accomplished through local communities, as well as through workplace environments. Representative democracy is when any decisions that are made are made so by the people that have been elected.
