The United Nations works with so many vital agencies all over the world. The two major agencies include the UN General Assembly and the UN Security Council. The UN Security Council is responsible for keeping peace and security worldwide, especially in war-torn areas.

They operate as the police of the world, as they enforce the appropriate sanctions on members who break the law. The UN Assembly, on the other hand, is responsible for appointing who can be a part of the Security Council as a non -permanent member.

It is also accountable for the budget of the UN. The UN General Assembly is democratic because they must vote before they arrive at a resolution. Simultaneously, the United States Security Council only gives the deciding power to the world's five superpowers.

The United Nations has different organs under it, UN Security Council and UN General Assembly are two examples of these organs. The UN Security Council was created to maintain peace and ensure security in all parts of the world. The UN Security Council has the responsibility of maintaining peace in any parts of the world being ravaged with insecurities. The organization consists of five permanent members. These permanent members are China, Russia, the USA, France, and the UK. The organization also consists of some countries that are not regarded as permanent members. The non-permanent members of this organization are 125 in total. On the other hand, the UN General Assembly is also one of the organs of the UN. A total of 192 countries are members of this organ. The UN General Assembly has the responsibility of appointing who becomes a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. The UN General Assembly is also saddled with the responsibility of planning the budget of the United Nations.

There are some differences between UNSC and UNGA. UNSC is known to have five permanent members. There are also some non-permanent members that will total to 15 people. The UNGA is considered to be bigger. It will have up to 192 members available. Another difference between the two is how they would resolve their issues. UNGA will resolve the issues in a more dramatic manner. They will vote on the issue. Since UNSC has fewer members, there are only a few people who would decide on what the resolution is going to be so that they can move on from the issue.
