A lot of people just love eating pizza and there are two types of pizza that people are familiar with. The first one is hand-tossed pizza and the second one pan pizza. The pan pizza is normally made in a pan and this will be a bit oilier as compared to the hand-tossed pizza.

There are also some pan pizzas that are deep dish which means that it will have a lot of toppings underneath. The hand-tossed pizza is the more traditional type of pizza. This will come with a crispier crust since this has been made by hand. Both types of pizzas will be cooked in similar ovens and the temperature that they need to be cooked in will not change too much too.

Pizza is one of the most popular foods around the world. One of the reasons for this is that there is a variety of different ways that a pizza can be cooked and served. Two of those are hand-tossed and pan. Pan crust pizza can also be referred to as a deep-dish pizza. With this type of pizza, the crust is fluffy, and it will have a much thicker crust than one that is hand-tossed.

As the name suggests, hand-tossed pizza is repeatedly tossed by hand by throwing it in the air—this type of pizza results in a thinner crust.

In the pan method the dough is directly placed inside the pan without tossing it, while in hand tossed method the dough is tossed continually through air so as to aerate it and get thick. The hand tossed method results in a thin and crisp-like pizza while in pan method it becomes a fluffy and thick pizza.

Dough is slender in hand tossed because of continuous tossing in the presence of air while it is thicker in the pan method, it is then rolled into balls before placing it in the pan. 500°F is the required baking temperature in hand tossed method while the temperature is expected to be way more than that in pan method. Hand tossed pizza can be eaten with hands without the usage of forks while pizza cooked with the pan method is consumed with the usage of forks. Since pan pizza are thicker than hand tossed, they can take more toppings.

When you say pan crust pizza, this means that you are referring to some sort of deep-dish pizza. This means that you can expect that the crust of the pizza is going to be fluffier. It will also have a thicker crust as compared to the hand-tossed pizza.

The hand-tossed pizza is going to have a flatter crust and it will also be crispier. People can usually choose depending on what they like best. There are some people who will also prefer thin crust pizza mainly because they just want to focus on the toppings more. Some people would not be able to eat pizza when it is not thick enough. Once again, it is all a matter of preference.
