There are a lot of people who refer to the language that is spoken by Iranians as “Persian.” if you asked Iranians what they call their language, they would refer to it as “Farsi.” When you use the term “Persian,” remember that you are not merely using it to describe a language. You may also use it for a lot of other things.

For example, you may use the term “Persian” when you want to refer to the culture of the Iranian people. You may want to know more about literature, history, the way that they live, and so much more. You cannot use the term “Farsi” to describe the same things.

Old Persian has inflected grammar, which is subject to case, number, and gender, whereas Middle Persian has different written and oral forms. The Islamic conquest of Persia marks new Persian, and during this time, it was the official language of several Islamic dynasties and generated by world-class literary works.

It was used as a second language in South Asia until English and other languages of the region. In Iran, the Persian language is also known as Farsi. It is the name of the native language, while Persian is best known to the English-speaking world. Farsi is primarily used by Iranians to demonstrate the distinction of their language from other forms of Persian. Farsi is used to denote the New Persian, which is still used today.
