Love and lust are two emotions that people can feel towards one another. One of the differences between the two is the depth of affection. Between the two, love is a deeper type of affection. This type of feeling is experienced when two people know each other on a deeper level and spend more time together.
Lust is normally shallow. It is normally based on one's physical appearance and has no substance behind it. Two people that lust each other normally just have a sexual relationship with no intentions of taking it further than that. Love is normally felt between those that are in a relationship.
Love is known to be a feeling of strong affection towards someone. When you love someone, you have a natural tendency to want to take care of that person. You know that your attraction for the person just goes beyond the surface.
It can turn to emotional attachment that you will have for the person which means that you will find it hard when the person would like to withdraw this emotional attachment from you. When you say lust, this is known to be a type of attraction that will lead to sexual attachment.
You just want to have sex with the person all the time. Sometimes, there are just no feelings involved when you feel lust towards someone.
