The medical field is one that is complex with a number of people that work in it. All of these people are important because they help keep the patients safe and healing properly. Two titles that can be held by people in the medical field are NP and PA.

Both of these are abbreviations for job titles. NP stands for nurse practitioner. This person provides services to different types of populations and has a shorter amount of education. PA stands for physician's Assistant. This person would have studied for a longer amount of time, and they have more education to carry out their tasks.

In order to understand the differences between the two, you should first understand what NP and PA stand for. When you say NP, this means Nurse Practitioner. When you say PA, this means Physician’s Assistant.

The NP is usually someone who has been educated in order to provide the services that are neededifferent d by populations. There are times when those who can be served by NPS are very broad.

The PA would need to have a broader education because they need to undergo more units in order to complete their program. They need to become more educated given the things that they have to do.
