These are two popular media players from Apple. The iPod has been the darling of media players for decades now, and it is still evolving and upgrading with no sign of being done yet. The main difference is that the 5th generation boasts a glossy finish, and it also has a smaller click wheel than that of 4th generation.

The display of 4th generation is smaller coming in at about 2 inches while the 5th generation has a more prominent 2.2 display. The most pleasantly surprising aspect of this is the fact that the iPod 5th generation is less expensive than the 4th generation. This advance is exciting because it is an upgrade with new and better features added to it. 5th generation comes with a built-in microphone and speaker, which was not there in 4th generation. Another key difference is the VGA video camera and an FM radio, which is helpful for those who have trouble coming up with a playlist. You can even listen to music with the assistance of internal speakers, and you do not need a headset.
