The differentiation of dynamic stretching and static stretching can be properly done when you base your comparison on how and when the two forms of stretching exercises are used. Dynamic stretching refers to a group of exercises that must be done prior to a sporting event. These types of exercises are intended to prepare the athletes or the players for a particular sport.

The various exercises of dynamic stretching are vigorous compared to that of static stretching because they are used mostly to warm up. On the other hand, static stretching refers to a series of exercises that are done after the end of a particular sport.

The various exercises of static stretching are not as physically challenging and vigorous as that of dynamic stretching because they are used mostly to cool down the muscles so that they can be at a relaxed state, whereas the dynamic stretch exercises are meant to prepare the muscles for a sporting event or even training.

When engaging in any type of physical fitness, it is best to stretch before doing so. There are various types of stretching that can be done, depending on the activity that is done. Between the two, static stretching is not as engaging physically as dynamic stretching is.

Because of this, dynamic stretching is normally done before a workout. It helps prepare a person for the workout they are going to do. Static stretching is done after the workout because it can help a person cool down after the workout is completed and get their heart rate to normal, as well as relax muscles.

Static stretching and dynamic stretching are two types of stretching that are employed in sports training and physical fitness. The static stretching is known to be less physically engaging and vigorous when compared to dynamic stretching. When you want to be involved in the real business while doing your exercise, you engage the dynamic stretching, while you employ the static stretching to cool down. Dynamic stretching usually engages your limbs and arms in a constant movement, and it increases the rate of blood flow in your body.

It is usually included in warm-up before the commencement of sport activities to help shape the muscle as required. The static stretching, conversely, is slower and holds a pose quite longer in a stretched position. It helps to relieve the muscle tension, and also slow down the rate of heart beat to normal. The examples of static stretching include head bends, hamstring stretch, and quad stretch, and this form of exercise helps to improve body flexibility.
